Warrior Woodtreat Water Based Varnish

DESCRIPTION:

Warrior Woodtreat Water Based Varnish provides excellent resistance to wet and humid conditions as well as ultra-violet radiation of the sun, giving an attractive gloss finish.

USES:

Warrior Woodtreat Water Based Varnish is ideal for use on wooden gates, doors, garden furniture, window frames, pergolas, fascias, weather boarding shelving, skirting boards and cupboards. Not suitable for floors and decks.

New Wood Surfaces

Previously Treated Wood Surfaces: All painted or varnished surfaces must be stripped chemically or mechanically back to the bare wood. Sand bare wood to a smooth finish and ensure surface is clean, firm and dry before applying Warrior Woodtreat Water Based Varnish.

RECOMMENDED APPLICATION:

Always stir contents well before use and stir occasionally during use as well. Apply the 1st coat thinned 10-15% by volume with water and allow 4 hours to dry. Apply the 2nd coat and 3rd coats unthinned, allowing 4 hours in between coats and sanding lightly between coats.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

  1.  It is recommended that a minimum of 3 coats be applied for a more durable finish.
  2.  It is impor­tant that this product be thoroughly mixed with a flat paddle before use.
  3.  As per standard painting practices, no painting should take place if surface or ambient temperatures are                       below 10⁰C or above 30⁰C. Painting should cease at 3pm or when rain is imminent.
